The Mountain

Powderhorn sits on the north slopes of the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat-topped mountain. Just 45 minutes east of Grand Junction, Powderhorn rises to 9,900 feet. The mountain combines skiing and snowboarding with breathtaking views in a relaxed, personal atmosphere. Powderhorn prides itself in offering great service with tremendous value.

New for the 2009/10 season!
Powderhorn is proud to welcome the Skiers' Union Cafe & Bar. This new restaurant replaces the Wildewood Restaurant in the base area and offers their world famous sirloin fillet burger along with other signature entrees and drinks. Open daily 11am-8:30pm.

Therapeutic massage is now available to all guests at the Inn at Wildewood. Let our licensed professionals provide resoration and relaxtion to your body after a day on the slopes. Available by appointment.

The base area includes full rental shop, ski & snowboard school, children's learning center, Alpine Trader & Cafe shops, Sunset Grille & Bar, picnic area, Skiers' Union Cafe & Bar and the Inn at Wildewood.

You won't find long lift lines or hefty ticket prices. We're proud of the variety of terrain from groomers to bumps to aspen glades. Due to the diverse terrain in the Grand Valley, your ski vacation can include mountain biking, winery tours or golf. Make it an affordable weekend full of activity!
